JIT.codes is a free, multi-functional code generator that converts natural language requirements into code in various programming languages and even generates CANVAS/SVG graphics.
This AI-powered platform serves as a comprehensive code generation solution that can be useful for developers across various domains and skill levels.
It also fosters creativity by allowing developers to experiment with different languages and frameworks without the steep learning curve typically associated with new technologies.
How to use it:
1. Visit the JIT.codes website and sign up for a free account.
2. Type a clear description of the code or graphic you want to generate. In this example, I typed ‘Generate a carousel showcasing images,’ and this AI swiftly generated a simple JavaScript Carousel component for me in a code editor. In this editor, you can see how the carousel is in action and modify the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly. Additionally, you can communicate with the AI to have it modify the code according to your preferences.

3. What genuinely impresses me about this AI tool is its ability to generate code based on the programming language or framework of your choice. Taking the aforementioned ‘Carousel’ example, I selected the ‘Bootstrap’ framework and the AI-generated code adhering to the Bootstrap framework instead of creating HTML/CSS/JavaScript code from scratch.

4. JIT.codes also allows you to generate various graphics using SVG or HTML5 Canvas. Here’s how I asked the AI to use SVG to generate a Home icon for my site.

5. In addition, the platform hosts a vast library of user-generated code. Browse and search through this collection to find ready-made solutions and avoid reinventing the wheel.
