Screenflick is a web app that uses AI to instantly generate iconic movie quotes upon request.
Want a line from your favorite film? Just type in the title. The app, powered by Google’s Gemini Pro model, will present you with a selection of memorable quotes and the characters who said them.
I tested Screenflick with “Dune.” It quickly gave me five famous quotes:
"Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration." - Paul Atreides
"The spice must flow." - Duke Leto Atreides
"We will kill them all. But first, we must get out of this cursed place." - Gurney Halleck
"The sleeper must awaken." - Lady Jessica
"My name is Sting. I'm a man of honor." - Sting
Screenflick helps film enthusiasts, writers, and anyone seeking cinematic inspiration. It provides quick access to memorable movie lines, sparking creativity or refreshing your memory of favorite films.
How to use it:
1. Go to the Screenflick web app and find the search bar. You can type in the exact film title or be a little flexible; the app’s fuzzy search can handle minor errors. As a fan of the upcoming “Deadpool 3,” I tried searching for “Deadpool” to see what quotes I could find.
2. Click the “Generate Dialogue” button, and the AI quickly provided me with five quotes from various characters in the “Deadpool” franchise:
"Maximum effort!" - Deadpool
"I'm like a unicorn — if unicorns were real and didn't have horns and were totally sarcastic." - Deadpool
"You belong here with us, Wade." - Vanessa
