How To Use it
- Access the Tool: You can visit the Image to 3D Asset with TRELLIS’ Hugging Face space or directly try it out on this page. I’ve embedded the playground you can see above.
- Upload Your Image: Upload a 2D image that you want to convert into a 3D asset. If your image includes an alpha channel, it will be used as a mask. Otherwise, the tool uses rembg to remove the background automatically.
- Generate the Asset: Click the “Generate” button to start the 3D asset creation process.
- Download the Asset: If the generated 3D asset meets your needs, click “Extract GLB” to extract the GLB file. Then, you can download the file for use in your projects.
- Tips for Best Results: For optimal results, use high-resolution images with clear subjects. Experiment with different types of images to see the full range of what TRELLIS can produce.
